Other Floorboards
Bargain packs are sometimes available. These packs contain floorboards which for various reasons are discounted. The reasons could include the boards are an odd size, or have a lot of water marks. The most common reason for discounting is that the boards have been polished and in some cases this results in there being a hard residue in the tongue and groove, due to the polish mixing with dirt. All this means is that there will be a small gap between the floorboards when they are relaid. A look common in old floors.
Also occasionally different species of flooring come through our business. These may include Radiata, Kauri, Rimu, Tasmanian Myrtle, Redgum and Jarrah. These floors are relatively rare in Melbourne but it's worth asking if we have them in stock.

102-104mm x 21mm baltic Pine
50 Square Metres - $3000
This size of Baltic is discounted to $60 per square metre, due to its slightly wider 4" size compared to the typical 100mm. A typical softwood with good nail-holding power, can be easily stained to suit any desired outcome.
Smaller quantities of 100mm x 22mm baltic are available for purchase.
102mm x 21mm Radiata Pine
25.1 Square Metres - $1000
This size has been discounted to $40 per square metre due to its uncommon size. A typical softwood with good nail-holding power, can be easily stained to suit any desired outcome.
Pack to be sold as one lot only, will not split into smaller quantities.
152mm x 21mm radiata pine
36.8 Square Metres - $1600
A typical softwood with good nail-holding power, can be easily stained to suit any desired outcome.
Smaller quantities are available for purchase at $45 per square metre (minimum purchase $250).
88-89mm x 19mm rainforest timber
21.3 Square Metres - $1000
This timber floor is a first for us, appears to be a blend of southeast asian timbers including rubber wood (Malaysian Oak). Due to the odd nature of this floor we've discounted it to approximately $47.50 per SQM. Pack to be sold as one lot, will not break up for smaller purchases.
84mm x 19mm Tasmanian oak
33.9 Square Metres - $1700
This lot of hardwood is discounted to roughly $50 per square metre, due to its rustic nature. Salvaged from an old weatherboard house in Warragul, its got some rougher hewn cuts and dark tones.
105mm x 19mm Tasmanian oak
28 Square Metres - $1500
This lot of hardwood is discounted to roughly $55 per square metre. Due to more than normal amount of staples/tack holes on surface on the boards, otherwise in great condition.

This lot of hardwood is discounted to roughly $55 per square metre. Due to large amounts of solidified glue and debris in the tongue and grooves, otherwise in great condition.

Rarely seen timber in great condition, nails were gut during removal, leaving large amount of nail heads remaining in boards.

This recycled baltic pine was originally 150x19mm and has had a heavy sand across parts of it putting the thickness in a range from 16-18mm.
Due to this and some greater than usual tongue tear out we've discounted this to $12 per lineal metre if purchased as one lot, otherwise it's $15 per lineal metre.
