Other Floorboards
Bargain packs are sometimes available. These packs contain floorboards which for various reasons are discounted. The reasons could include the boards are an odd size, or have a lot of water marks. The most common reason for discounting is that the boards have been polished and in some cases this results in there being a hard residue in the tongue and groove, due to the polish mixing with dirt. All this means is that there will be a small gap between the floorboards when they are relaid. A look common in old floors.
Also occasionally different species of flooring come through our business. These may include Kauri, Rimu, Tasmanian Myrtle, Redgum and Jarrah. These floors are relatively rare in Melbourne but it's worth asking if we have them in stock.
